Overview
Our logo is powerful in its simplicity. With its sharp, geometric flame composed of the letters
L and S, it evokes who we are—bold, driven and modern—rather than what we do.
Clearspace
To enhance the impact of the Lightspeed logo, keep a full flame width between the logo and competing visual elements such as text, supporting graphics and the edge of documents or packaging.
Color
Our monochrome logo is clean and cohesive. Choose this single-color logo in Charcoal gray on light backgrounds or pure white on dark backgrounds. If you spot our two-color red and black logo in the wild, please update or reach out to the brand team.

Please note, our logo is not to be used on top of Fire red as it doesn’t comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Scale
The minimum width for the Lightspeed logo is 80 px or 1.1 inches to ensure legibility. Please always scale proportionally.

Guidance
Never gray out, distort, rotate, rearrange, outline, apply gradients, change our font or alter the logo in any way. There is only one Lightspeed logo—don’t create sublogos by adding product names, team names or any other additional words.

Contrast
Legibility of our Lightspeed logo is paramount. Ensure you are selecting a color for the background that provides suitable contrast and lets the logo truly shine. When using our logo for the web, aim for a WCAG AA pass or better. To test this, use this contrast checker.

Logo usage
If you are unsure of your usage, please submit your design for approval to [email protected]
Flame
Our brandmark (the Flame) symbolizes warmth, creativity and action, while its sleek design evokes endless possibilities. Like a flame, Lightspeed is constantly evolving, anticipating trends and adapting to day-to-day challenges. Our service and support light our customers’ way through every step of their journey.

Clearspace
To enhance its impact, keep a half Flame width distance away from any competing visual elements such as text, other graphics and the edge of documents or packaging.

Color
When choosing colors for the Flame, please follow the same color guidelines as for the Lightspeed logo. For white, please retain the Fire Red for optimum visibility.

Scale
The minimum width for the flame is 15 px or 0.6 inches (15mm) to ensure visibility. Please always scale proportionally.
Guidance
Never rely solely on the Flame to represent the Lightspeed brand. It should only be used as a supporting brand identifier after our official logo has already been introduced. We love the Flame and sometimes use it as a standalone element internally (e.g. on swag), but always stay true to its design.

Brand Partnerships
The other sections are styled to help you create beautiful, high-converting pages. If you already know exactly what you want, use this section to add text, images, video, audio, etc. and build something completely custom. This is your sandbox — create what you want!
Cobranding
We use cobranding for straightforward partnerships, including webinars, sponsorships and other comarketing assets. A vertical bar with a 2 pixel width is used to divide both logos. If the other logo is taller than the Flame, the bar should match the height of the taller logo. If shorter, keep the bar at the Flame’s height. Keep one Flame width between the bar and each logo

Collaborations
When we collaborate with an external partner to produce a unique product, service or event that builds positive brand equity, we use a lowercase x at counter height in Real Text Pro between the two logos to signal that it’s an original output based on our combined expertise.

YES: Lightspeed x Doshii (both companies advertised each other on their websites)
NO: Lightspeed x Kounta (acquisition, not collaboration)
NO: Lightspeed x SOUK (sponsorship, not original creation)
Sponsorship
We use the “Powered by Lightspeed” language to describe:
- Businesses that use Lightspeed products (e.g. powered by Lightspeed since 2005)
- In-kind sponsorship of external partners (e.g. SOUK powered by Lightspeed)
- Whitelabeled products that contractually require partner branding (e.g. Lightspeed Payments powered by Stripe).

Partner Program
Our partners are resellers, developers and referrers. From creating integrations and themes to introducing our products to new clients, customers and contacts across the world, we recognize our partners with an official logo, localized for each region.
